About Us

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Golden Fodder & Grains. Our focus is to supply the highest quality Alfalfa and Bermuda grass hay for the domestic and international marketplace.  We excel in the procurement and export of Alfalfa Hay and Bermuda grass from the United States to the International Marketplace. Alfalfa is rich in vitamin B, vitamin C, and vitamin D. We also test moisture content, dry matter, and relative feeding value to ensure the best quality is delivered to all of our customers. We also conduct quality testing of laboratory samples by third-party laboratories. We ensure that all alfalfa hay is safe and free from any foreign contamination while adhering to strict USDA local and export guidelines.

It is very important to provide high-quality alfalfa hay to improve the energy of dairy cows and meet the nutritional needs of dairy products. Alfalfa’s high palatability ensures that even the pickiest eaters will maintain a balanced diet. High-quality alfalfa hay contains less neutral detergent fiber and is easier to digest, which will allow greater dry matter intake and support milk production, which is why it is important to provide the highest quality alfalfa hay available.

We have been exporting retail and wholesale hay to the Middle Eastern market since 2014. We pride ourselves on building meaningful relationships with the people and businesses in our network to ensure they have a partner they can trust.

PRODUCTS

SINGLE PRESSED 3-TIE ALFALFA FIELD BALES

Single-pressed 3-tie bales are mostly used by small dairy farms and horse stables. Each bale averages between 43-45 kgs, which can be handled individually without bales handling equipment. Our 3 tie bales are clean and free from weeds, mold, dust, insects, rodents, rocks, baling wire, or other contaminants.  We can load 300 bales in a 40’ high cube container. Origin U.S.A

DOUBLE COMPRESSED ALFALFA SLEEVED BALES

Alfalfa in double-compressed bales is the ideal highly digestible fiber-based protein fodder for a balanced diet of livestock animals. We ship Alfalfa which is completely natural, the cutting, drying, and compression in bales involve no additives or other substances. Thanks to its long fiber, alfalfa double-compressed bales stimulate chewing and rumination. It is fodder palatable to consume, easy to digest, and free from harmful components.

Its high nutritional content makes this product the perfect fodder for feeding all livestock animals (dairy cows, sheep and goats, camels, and horses) ensuring high production and reproduction performances. Alfalfa hay can be administered as a ready forage, combined with other components in the TMR. The daily dosage depends on the animal to be fed and its life stage and has to be calibrated on the overall content of the diet.

We also test moisture content, dry matter, and relative feeding value to ensure the best quality is delivered to all of our customers. We also conduct quality testing of laboratory samples by third-party laboratories.

SINGLE PRESSED 3-TIE BERMUDA HAY BALES

The 3-tie Bermuda Hay is a great source of vitamin A and calcium, with lower protein levels than alfalfa hay. Bermuda hay is good for horses, it’s high in fiber which helps horses ingest food and absorb nutrients in their diet. However, a diet solely of Bermuda hay wouldn’t provide the necessary amount of protein or all the essential minerals and vitamins horses require. Bermuda hay is a great choice for obese horses or horses with sensitivity to alfalfa. The average bale weight is from 43-5 kgs. We can load 300 bales in a 40’ high cube container. Origin U.S.A

RHODES GRASS BALES

Rhodes grass is a useful forage for pasture and hay, drought-resistant and very productive, of high quality when young.  It is grazed, cut for hay or used as deferred feed but it is not suitable for silage. Rhodes Grass Hay is low in oxalate, containing approximately 2.5 to 3 g/kg of oxalate. Rhodes grass was – and still is – the preferred hay fodder for camels.  While cattle, particularly dairy cows, are one of the major consumers of Rhodes grass hay, the fodder is considered to be the best for camels and their digestive systems.  With large camel farms and camel holders in the Middle East, the prohibition to grow the preferred fodder crop meant Rhodes grass had to be imported.
